Refrigerated Cargo & Reefer Container

Since our founding in 1992, one of our special areas of expertise is the service of temperature-controlled of perishable cargoes. It is a field in which we have consistently been at the forefront of new technologies, using best practices and keep to handle in the best possible manner. Due to its perishable commodity, special procedures are in place to handle this cargo, from handling to storage.

We are keeping and further developing our expertise in the reefer segment to always provide  prime support to our customers. We aim to offer our customers the latest reefer equipment   technologies in order to guarantee optimal services. To achieve this, we continuously invest in optimizing its services and special reefer containers capable of meeting the needs of the most varied refrigerated products.

Our team is very confident to handle many type of temperature-controlled cargo such as fresh fruit, meat, poultry, fish, seafood, vegetables, dairy products, photographic material and pharmaceuticals. The factors such as temperature control, air exchange, humidity levels, and proper packing and loading become extremely important.

Because the characteristics of this cargo type vary from commodity to commodity, handling procedures and transit environments will vary as well. Some cargoes, such as meat, have to be kept either chilled at –1.4°C or frozen at –18°C. Other cargoes, such as fresh vegetable e.g potato, have to be kept at temperatures mainly ranging from 0°C to +12°C to ensure that they arrive in the best possible condition.

Pre-Trip Inspection (PTI) and Container Check
It is one of the highest priorities of our service to provide our customers with the most suitable container equipment for their needs at any time. Before one of our reefer containers is released, it must always pass through a “Pre-Trip Inspection” (PTI). Our PTI is a long and extensive check of the container and the operation of the reefer machinery. This ensures that only clean and un- damaged containers with reefer machinery in perfect running order are made available to our customer.

Double Deep Racking

We always take the time to understand your needs about the available area, the stock rotation and also your great satisfaction before designing a storage system that meets your requirements. Double-deep pallet racking is a variant on standard adjustable beam racking that allows pallets to be stored two deep but still accessible from the same aisle.

By reducing the number of access aisles and using the space saved to accommodate additional racking, a Double-deep configuration provides a highly space-efficient storage system. Although the speed of access to all of the pallet positions is restricted, with our efficient stock management system this can easily be compensated for to take advantage of the benefits of more storage space.

Our Racking System easily installed, cost-effective, versatile and adjustable beam racking so that the racking can be re-configured to accommodate changes in the type of goods stored. The versatility of adjustable pallet racking, and the experience of our team, allows warehouse and storage layouts to be supplied to customer’s precise requirements.

Double Deep Racking is particularly well-suited to:
       - Storing several pallets of each type of   product
       - High turnover stock
       - Maximize Storage Space
       - Maintain goods selectivity
       - Achieve high level of productivity
       - Reduce Damage

Block Space Storage

One common method of storing stock is floor pallet stacking or block space stacking. Block space stacking is a form of storage that requires just simple type of storage equipment, and sometimes instead loaded pallets are placed directly on the floor and built up in stacks to a maximum stable storage height. Lanes are created to ensure access to the different stock keeping units (SKUs).
The maximum storage heights or stacking levels are determined by a number of different factors such as: Load strength, Load weight, Load stability, Pallet conditions, Safety limits, Weather (humidity, water, wind can weaken pallets and soften loads), Warehousing clearance heights. Each of these factors needs to be considered carefully to ensure that safe stacking levels are selected. One key limitation of block stacking is that SKU’s are only accessible in a Last In First Out (LIFO) method depending on cargo type. Floor stacking is extremely space intensive and hence requires very large areas for storing large quantities of stock.
